Why mad at the pen (?)
It’s my “supervillain” pen name taken from MF DOOM’s ‘Meat Grinder‘. Daniel Doomile is one of favourite artists of all time. His sincere and idiosyncratic approach to making music are values I admire and hold dear to my own work.
I’m also a big time fan of sampling. I love the idea that you can breathe new life into a found image or sound bite by remixing it.
So yeah, that’s why.
